What we collect
Your email, profile details (name, handle, bio, photo, languages, neighbourhood), and activity within the club — which walks you RSVP'd to, which you attended (via QR scan), and who you've met. We don't track you outside the site.
How we use it
To run the club — sending sign-in links, walk reminders, and walk-related updates; to help hosts greet you at walks; to moderate for safety.
Who sees it
Other members see your profile and walks. Admins see your email and sign-in metadata for moderation purposes. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties beyond the service providers we need to run the site (email delivery, hosting, analytics).
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile is hidden immediately and your personal details are wiped on a rolling schedule; attendance records stay so the community history makes sense.
Your rights (including Quebec Law 25)
You can access, correct, or delete your data. Email hello@girlscafewalkclub.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. Quebec residents have specific rights under Law 25, including the right to a copy of your data and the right to file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information.
